The Swiss Paraplegic Centre Nottwil (SPC) is a private specialist clinic recognized throughout Europe for the initial treatment and holistic rehabilitation of paraplegics. In addition to medical and therapeutic services, it also provides counseling services and research in the field of paraplegia and prevention. As part of the center's major expansion projects, the clinic needed a temporary pain clinic and workshop space. This space requirement was covered by the temporary Center for Pain Medicine and the chiropractor practice ZSM as well as the workshop of the wheelchair and assistive technology specialist Orthotec. Although the buildings are intended for temporary use, they have a very high standard of fit-out in line with medical requirements.

Highlights

  • Fully wheelchair-accessible building
  • Association of medical practices, offices and workshops under one roof
