Modern, sustainable, and efficient: The new McDonald’s restaurant in Lamone was built using the innovative FS1 concept. The two-story new building, constructed using modern timber-frame technology, combines high-quality architecture with fast and precise execution.

A fully equipped restaurant, complete with a drive-thru window, canopies, and a recycling station, was built on approximately 660 square meters of floor space in just 11.5 weeks. The combination of sustainable materials, well-thought-out design, and efficient construction makes this project a forward-looking dining destination.

Systematic Wooden Modular Construction

The new McDonald’s in Lamone is a prime example of modern construction with maximum efficiency. Thanks to precise prefabrication using timber-frame construction, the building was completed on-site in just 11.5 weeks.

The scope of the project included the entire building envelope, the drive switch, roof waterproofing, canopies, and all interior and exterior doors. Complemented by steel structures, interior staircases, and a separate recycling facility, the result was a functional and architecturally modern project.

The new McDonald’s restaurant in Lamone features a modern FS1 concept that perfectly combines sustainability, quality, and speed. The new building, constructed using prefabricated wooden elements, stands out for its short construction time, high precision, and modern appearance.
