Emergency ward Hirslanden Clinic, Stephanshorn

The layout of the ward for the Hirslanden Klinik Stephanshorn was based on a modular concept. The emergency ward was individually designed based on its use and specific requirements. Due to the hillside location of the site, the emergency ward was built at ground level in the area of the rear entrance. Viewed from the front, i.e. from the main entrance to the clinic, it is located on the 2nd floor. The main building and extension are connected on each floor by a passageway, creating a deliberately smooth transition that is barely noticeable. The new part only stands out slightly due to its modernity.
