Execution as general contractor

As general contractor, we built the central pavilion with the surgical and medical day clinic within 7 months. The clinic contains various bed rooms for 20 general patients and three individual rooms for patients with additional insurance on three floors. In addition, there are ward pharmacies, an examination room, discharge rooms, ward rooms, offices, meeting rooms and classrooms. Two checkrooms will be built on two floors for the staff of the Zurich Children's Hospital. The building was constructed to the Minergie standard and forms a uniform system with the building services installations. By using concrete floors, we set new standards in terms of comfort and sense of space in solid element construction.

Highlights

  • Examination room for minor interventions
  • Simulation room and teaching zone
  • Switzerland's most modern pediatric clinic
  • Use of the newly developed RCS floors
