Execution as a subcontractor

The Rhyboot association, a private organization in the Rhine Valley, offers people with various disabilities residential, employment, work, integration and training places. As space in the previous workshops was becoming scarce, a new central building with bright and modern workplaces has been built on Bleichestrasse in Altstätten. The new Rhyboot building is currently one of the largest and most modern timber buildings in eastern Switzerland. In 2015, DMBAUAG was awarded the contract for the complete timber construction as a subcontractor in a public tender. With the new Rhyboot building, DMBAUAG is sending out a strong signal for timber construction in the Rhine Valley and the region. Thanks to the use of local timber and the short transportation routes to the construction site, the new building is also a showcase project in terms of ecology.

Highlights

  1. 1500 cubic meters of logs from St. Gallen and Appenzell forests were processed, which underlines the Rhyboot's connection to the region.
  2. One of the largest timber buildings in the region
  3. Visible timber constructions
  4. Workplaces for 200 employees
