The McDonald's restaurant in Münchenstein was getting on in years. After examining the building fabric, it was decided to construct a new modular building. A time window of 100 days is allowed for construction, including demolition, new foundations and access, from the day the existing cash registers close. The 3-storey building will be assembled from 34 modules and will offer space for around 220 guests in a restaurant area of just under 300 square meters. Thanks to the modular construction method and prefabrication at the DM-Bau AG factory, the elegant building was handed over to the enthusiastic client on time, despite the high standard of finish.

Highlights

  1. High level of prefabrication in the factory
  2. Wood-effect façade
  3. Completely optimized modular design
  4. Short loss of sales
