Kaiseraugst and Urdorf asylum centers
We realized a modular asylum shelter with a sine wave sheet metal façade for our client. The two-storey building has a total area of 620 m², of which 280 m² is on the first floor and 310 m² on the upper floor. It comprises 9 apartments, each with a private kitchen and wet room, as well as office, laundry and technical rooms. The building was constructed from 20 prefabricated modules, has a 20° pitched roof with sealed roofing and a foundation with a fully accessible crawl space. Heating is provided by an air-to-water heat pump (LWP) and the roof is prepared for a photovoltaic system. Thanks to the high degree of prefabrication, construction and handover were completed in just 15 working days. We already built an identical property right next door in 2009 and another one in Kaiseraugst in 2007. This proven construction method ensures fast, precise and sustainable implementation, which has once again impressed both the client and the users.
